We are looking for contributions in the form of short articles that we can feature on our website. Are you working, studying or volunteering at a heritage site? Or are you in any other way involved with natural, cultural or intangible heritage, and would like to share your experience? Send us your article - we will review it and get back to you promptly! Find out about the requirements and guidelines below.
Guidelines and Requirements
Your article should be connected to the field of heritage, whether it is cultural, natural or intangible. We welcome different perspectives and would like to share them with the public.
Please make sure the submission falls under one of the following categories: Reflections on Cultural Heritage, Reflections on Natural Heritage, Volunteering and Community Involvement, or Education and Academia. Let us know under which category you are applying.
The length of the text should be between 400-1000 words, Times New Roman, 12 pt.
Send in your article as a doc/docx file.
Include 2 - 8 photographs (as separate .jpg files) that can be featured with the article. Please make sure you give full credit to the author(s) of the photographs you are sending us.
Finally, we would like to present you, the author of the article, to our readers. Therefore, we would ask you to include a photograph of yourself with a short biography or description - who you are, your background and where you are currently working. We would kindly ask you to keep the bio short: 3-5 sentences.
If you would like, you can also include contact details that we can add next to your name so any interested reader could contact you with questions or remarks.
If you are interested, send us your article by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also contact us with any questions you might have or any other ideas you might want to discuss with us. We look forward to our collaboration!
